What’s fast, loud, melodic, and requires more mics than even a drummer can shake a stick at? The answer? Metalcore favorites Chimaira!

The band recently blocked out a week in AUA’s Neve room with acclaimed producer/engineer Ben Schigel (owner of Spider Studios) to track drums for their new LP due out later this year on Roadrunner Records.

Ben decided to bring the project to AUA after hearing the massive drum sounds that come out of AUA’s live room. He worked closely with AUA engineer/producer Bruce Seifert to get the sound he was after.
