Jim Hillenbrand
Engineer

Jim Hillenbrand began his long and illustrious career at Cleveland's legendary Agency Recording Studio. While there, he was chief recording engineer for both the "Live from the Agora," "Coffee Break Concert" and the nationally syndicated "New World of Jazz" series.

This provided him the opportunity to work with a veritable "who's who" of the best rock and jazz acts in the world. From Springsteen to Stanley Clarke, Hillenbrand has mixed them all for national radio audiences, and his work has appeared on live albums from those sessions.

He then designed and ran the studio facilities for Perfect Pitch Inc., later buying the facility and turning it into Landmark Recording. During those years Jim added advertising, industrial video and television documentary work to his ample skill-set.

His creative and detail-oriented approach has won him half a dozen Emmy awards, Telly's, Communicator Crystal awards, Clio's and Addy's almost too numerous to count. Those awards cover a multitude of specialized audio fields that Hillenbrand has obviously mastered. He brings a freshness of approach married to years of seasoned experience to any and all audio projects.

As Hillenbrand has said "The most important session I've ever done is the one I'm working on." It's that mind set that has not only brought numerous awards but a loyal client following who count on him to make their ideas shine.
