Matt Curry
Engineer

Matt’s audio career began in 1992 at Skyline Studios in New York where he was able to learn the fundamentals of recording and acoustics in one of New York City’s best studios.

After working up to an engineering Position, Matt began working at New York’s Right Track Recording where he worked on projects spanning a wide variety of genres, including Ozzy Ozbourne - Osmosis, Metallica - Load, David Bowie - Earthling, Vanessa Williams – Next, Jon Bon Jovi – Destination Anywhere, Carly Simon – Letters Never Sent, and Manhattan Transfer – Tonin’, among others.

In 1999 Matt began working with P.D. Waxx Records in St. Louis where he engineered The Family Saga that was voted #1 in Murder Dog Magazine’s Best of the Best independent releases. Engineering for another P.D. Waxx artist, Out of Order, he recorded the single “Work Som’n Twork Som’n” featuring Twista, which peaked at #8 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart.

Also in 1999 Matt began teaching audio engineering at the Recording Workshop. In his time teaching there Matt recorded hundreds of different artists, while instructing students in the finer points of recording and helping to support the local music scene in the Columbus Ohio Area.

After moving to the Cleveland area, it only took one listen for Matt to recognize that Ante Up was on par with the top studios in the county.
