Scottland Olds Harbert is a self- taught multi-instrumentalist songwriter and composer from Cleveland, Ohio.

Scott was a fixture on the vibrant Cleveland music scene throughout the 1980s playing and recording with many artists. At the age of 13 his own band, Immoral Minority, garnered local and national attention. A spread in the Plain Dealer by local, legendary rock columnist JANE SCOTT led to a piece on the nationally Syndicated t.v. show P.M. Magazine. The latter led to interest and an interview with HUGH HEFNER about signing to PLAYBOY RECORDS. This would not come to fruition due to the label having problems (and eventually being sold).

The band would continue in various incarnations with Scott and a few others at the core.

In 1989, Scott's bandmate David Wain, hatched an unusual idea. To tour nothing but Summer Camps, and give music symposiums after each show to have kids get familiar with musical instruments, and technique. The unique idea paid off. CNN did a story about the ROCKIN KNIGHTS OF SUMMER TOUR.

In 1991 Denver, Colorado, Scott and his comrade in filmmaking, Kevin Lewis Smith, would make a full length feature film for a PBS contest. Kevin directed, Scott scored the film. They won the contest and a grant.

1991-1997 Los Angeles, Scott and Smith created ROUNDTABLE PRODUCTIONS. It was a collective of talented filmmakers and artists. Scott scored many independent shorts over these years, going the DIY route-writing, performing, engineering, and producing all his work in his home studio.

In 1995 after years of pre-production, and independent financing, work began on THE METHOD, a feature film starring SEAN PATRICK FLANERY, ROBERT FORSTER, and NATASHA GREGSON WAGNER. It was Co-Produced by FLANERY and DISNEY'S DAVID HAGBERG. Scott used a unique method in his home studio to assemble the score, then deconstruct it, and reassemble it on the Disney Scoring Stage to keep it completely digital.

The METHOD premiered in January 1995 at the first SLAMDANCE FILM FESTIVAL in Park City, Utah-Director STEVEN SODERBURGH'S (Ocean’s 11) alternative to SUNDACE. The film was picked up for Distribution by SHOWCASE ENTERTAINMENT.

THE METHOD would play select theaters and festivals throughout the year.

Preproduction on Scott and Lewis' next feature soon began, but in early 1997 Scott was forced to bow out and return to Cleveland, due to family medical problems. After 17 straight years of performing or recording, he would call it a sabbatical from music.

For the next ten years he would dabble in whatever seemed interesting. Audio/Visual installations, IT, web design, etc.

In 2003, he jumped back in to scoring for the indie horror film STOP IT! YOU'RE KILLING ME! For HAXAN ENTERTAINMENT in Los Angeles.

In 2008, he assisted Jeanette Sorrell, as a Stage Technician for APOLLO'S FIRE, Cleveland's Baroque Orchestra.

Currently, Scott is retrenched in the Cleveland music scene with ANTE UP AUDIO, putting his past work to use in the ANTE UP POST division.
