Some people simply hear music. Others feel it. Gavin Murphy is member of the latter. Since childhood, music has influenced Gavin's life. Now, after graduating from Cuyahoga Community College's Recording Arts and Technology program in 2008, it is his profession.

As an audio engineer, live sound engineer, producer and musician, Gavin has worked in his Akron, Ohio based E & G Studios, East Iris, a famous Nashville, Tenn. recording studio, Greek Isle Productions, Brother's Lounge Night Club, Destiny Church, and currently Ante-Up Audio, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Exposure to every musical style and approach to recording, writing, producing and performing is the byproduct of Gavin's experience. Versatility is his forte. His client list boasts national artists like Keyshia Cole (Universal Music Group/Interscope Records), Ryland Raus, who fronts the nationally known metal-core band Inhale Exhale (Solid State Records) and the Akron based indie/pop project Long Time No See, Christian pop-rock artist Sean McNeill, New York City-based rapper Nuff-Sed and singer/songwriter David St. Philips.
Gavin also plays drums for the Akron-based reggae band Human Nature. And, when Inhale Exhale needed a drummer to fill in, Gavin accepted the challenge, learning an album's worth of heavy metal drums in only weeks.

His range and experience enables him to track, mix, produce, write and perform any style of music, from hip-hop to country, metal, pop, jazz, etc. Beyond this, his musical abilities on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals make him a force in the studio.
